USS Mason Responds To Anti-Ship Cruise Missile Attack On Motor Tanker In Middle East
CENTCOM: The "Motor Tanker STRINDA was attacked by what is assessed to have been an Anti-Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) launched from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen".
MIDDLE EAST - U.S. Central Command has reported that the USS Mason has responded to an anti-ship cruise missile attack on the Norwegian-flagged oil/chemical Motor Tanker STRINDA on December 11th, 2023.
The missile/s were launched from a Houthi-controlled position within Yemen while the vessel was passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb, according to the report.
