USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Group To Leave Eastern Mediterranean
US Navy: "In the coming days, [US Navy's] USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group will redeploy to its home port as scheduled to prepare for future deployments".
MEDITERRANEAN - Multiple officials have said (now also reported by the US Navy) that the USS Gerald R. Ford carrier group will be leaving the Mediterranean, where it has been since the start of the conflict in the Middle East, and will return to its home port in Norfolk, Virginia.
This was first reported on our Patreon Platform yesterday. The USS Bataan and the USS Carter Hall entered the eastern Mediterranean from the Red Sea a week ago to join the USS Mesa Verde.
