UNITED STATES - According to U.S. Northern Command, and the Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado the United States Space Force is aware of reports of drone flights around military installations in New Jersey and is actively monitoring them.
During a briefing today, the Pentagon said there is no evidence the drones come from a foreign entity, and said that no installations were threatened by the activity.
The Peterson Space Force base released a statement that said, "We are aware and monitoring the reports of unauthorized drone flights in the vicinity of military installations in New Jersey to include Picatinny Arsenal and Naval Weapons Station Earle".
The statement went on to say, "U.S. Northern Command conducted a deliberate analysis of the events, in consultation with other military organizations and interagency partners, and at this time we have not been requested to assist with these events.
ICYMI: “Through this new strategy, USNORTHCOM will synchronize whole-of-government efforts to better respond to UAS incidents at military installations and surge support if needed....." - Gen. Greg Guillot, NORAD & USNORTHCOM commander.
If these incidents require additional DoD assistance, the Secretary of the Military Department or relevant DoD component head concerned can coordinate with USNORTHCOM for an enhanced or increased response."

Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh was asked during the briefing today, "Representative Jeff Van Drew, who is a Republican from New Jersey, was just on the air saying that Iran launched a mother ship probably about a month ago that contains these drones and that that mothership is off the coast of the East Coast of the United States. Is there any truth to that?"
Singh replied by saying, "There is not any truth to that. There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States and there's no so-called mothership launching drones towards the United States".
