US Establishes International Task Force After Over 100 Drone & Missile Attacks Targeting Over 35 Countries
Secretary of Defense: Attacks have already impacted the global economy and would continue to threaten commercial shipping if the international community does not come together to address the issue.
WASHINGTON/RED SEA - Due to "the recent escalation in reckless Houthi attacks originating from Yemen", which the Department of Defense says has targeted more than 35 countries over 100 times with missiles and drones, the DoD announced that the US has established an international task force that has been dubbed "Operation Prosperity Guardian".
The task force, which includes the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles, and Spain, was created as the DoD announced that the attacks have already impacted the global economy and would continue to threaten commercial shipping if the international community did not come together to address the issue.
