UNITED STATES - The U.S. government, under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, has initiated a robust military response to enhance security along the southern border and address illegal entry into the United States.
U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) is deploying approximately 1,140 service members to provide sustainment support for border security operations, collaborating with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
