TEXAS - The Texas National Guard has built hundreds of miles of razor wire border barrier, added new panels on the border wall, and deployed floating buoys in the Rio Grande river to deter illegal immigrants from getting into the United States.
Texas law enforcement has also seized over 518 million lethal doses of fentanyl according to the state’s governor Greg Abbott, who claims that the newly installed border wire has helped to decrease illegal immigration by about 85%.
Abbot also said that he has signed several laws to stop the illegal act of noncitizen voting in Texas' elections.
Governor Greg Abbott: "The Texas National Guard has already built hundreds of miles of razor wire border barrier that has helped to decrease illegal immigration by about 85%. Now, we are expanding that razor wire barricade even further."
"More wall panels were recently installed on the Texas border wall in Zapata County. Texas is the first and ONLY state in U.S. history to build our own border wall.
Through Operation Lone Star, Texas continues to take historic action to protect Texans and Americans."
Texas also installed, "huge buoys along the Rio Grande. A recent Fifth Circuit ruling delivered a victory to keep the barriers in place."
Abbot: "Texas will continue to deploy law enforcement and soldiers to deter and stop illegal immigration."
