Texas Governor Issues Statement On The State's "Constitutional Right To Self-Defense" As Democrat Calls To Seize Control Of State's National Guard

The governor also stated that he has put U.S. President Joe Biden “on notice” in a series of letters that he has delivered to the President by hand, demanding that he “perform his constitutional duties” which he says have been ignored.
“President Biden has instructed his agencies to ignore federal statutes that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants. The declaration comes as a democrat representative from Texas, Joaquin Castro is calling on Biden to seize control of the State’s National Guard if Texas defies a Supreme Court order allowing border patrol officers to remove barriers securing the border.
Castro wrote on social media Tuesday, “Governor Greg Abbott is using the Texas National Guard to obstruct and create chaos at the border. If Abbott is defying yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, @POTUS needs to establish sole federal control of the Texas National Guard now”.
The Governor of Oklahoma Kevin Stitt said on social media that Oklahoma stands with Texas:
