Russia Reports Shooting Down Two Military Drones Targeting Moscow
Sergey Sobyanin: "In the early hours of Thursday, at about 4:00 a.m., the Air Defense forces shot down two military strike drones that were en route to Moscow."
MOSCOW - Russian state media has reported that air defenses shot down two "strike drones" targeting Moscow, citing a statement by the Russian Capital's Mayor.
Although Russia claims to have shot down the UAVs, video footage posted on social media claims to show that at least some of the UAVs were not shot down, and instead successfully hit targets.
