Russia Carries Out Largest Strike On Ukrainian Infrastructure Since Beginning Of Invasion
Ukrainian energy grid operator UkrEnergo head Volodymyr Kudrytskyi reported that blackouts occurred in seven regions of Ukraine.
KYIV - Russia has carried out its largest strike on Ukrainian infrastructure since the beginning of the war, according to the Ukrainian energy grid operator and Russian state media.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted on Telegram after the strikes, “Russia is at war against people's ordinary lives. My condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in this terror”.
Russian state news cited Moscow as saying that the strikes were “a response to the recent shellings of Russian territories by Ukraine’s forces and their attempts to capture Russian border settlements”.
According to RT, the Russian Defense Ministry said that, “All of the objectives of the strikes had been accomplished and that a number of Ukrainian decision-making centers had been destroyed.
These included airfield infrastructure facilities, weapon and equipment repair shops, UAV storage depots, logistics bases, and military deployment centers”.
