Russia: 2,700 Houses Flooded, 1,300 Evacuated Over Dam Collapse. Ukraine: Over 1560 Evacuated
Russia and Ukraine both blame each other for the destruction of the Kakhovka dam. Russia claims it was done by Ukraine with an Olkha MLRS. Both countries say it was an act of terrorism.
UKRAINE - Russian state news says that 2,700 houses were flooded and 1,300 people were evacuated in 15 different settlements in Kherson after the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam collapsed, citing emergency services. A Ukrainian Internal Affairs report says that over 1,560 people have been evacuated.
