Pentagon Confirms US Strikes Against Houthi Targets In Yemen, Iranian-Affiliated Targets In Syria
The Houthi facilities targeted by U.S. Central Command in Yemen contained advanced conventional weaponry that was used by the group to target American and international forces.
WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has confirmed that the United States carried out strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, as well as on Iranian-affiliated groups in Syria after Yemenese media reported that U.S. and British forces carried out numerous strikes on Yemen November 9th, 10th, and 11th.
During a press briefing, Major General Pat Ryder said that U.S. Central Command carried out a series of precise strikes on November 9th and 10th on multiple Houthi weapons storage facilities located within Houthi-controlled territories in Yemen but did not mention any joint attacks with British forces.

Commander of U.S. Central Command Michael Erik Kurilla did say that the attacks were carried out along with coalition partners in the region by saying, "Our message is clear. Attacks against U.S. and coalition partners in the region will not be tolerated. We will continue to take every step necessary to protect our personnel and coalition partners and respond to reckless attacks."
