Operational Updates From Israeli Military - October 19th, 2023

IDF forces continue to attack the sources of gunfire in Lebanese territory.

Israeli Ministry of Defense: The government's decision, which has now been approved, authorizes the Minister of Defense and the IDF to evacuate in a phased manner and according to the assessment of the situation the settlements located at a distance of 2-5 km from the Lebanese border. 

It should be emphasized that the approval of the proposal does not mandate the immediate evacuation of the settlements within this range.

IDF's Continued Call For Evacuation In Gaza

IDF spokesperson: The IDF informs the residents of Gaza to evacuate to the humanitarian area in the Al-Mawasi area, to which, if necessary, international humanitarian aid will be directed

The IDF continues to call on the residents of the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City to evacuate to the Al-Mawasi area south of the Gaza River and announces its recommendation to evacuate to the open spaces west of Khan Yunis, in the Al-Mawasi area.
