Israeli Defense Minister Lays Out Gaza War, Post-War Plans
As far as when the war will end, Gallant’s statement said, "It will continue for as long as is deemed necessary”.
JERUSALEM/GAZA - Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant: “In the northern region of the Gaza strip, we will transition to a new combat approach in accordance with military achievements on the ground”.
According to Gallant, tactics will include:
Carrying Out Raids,
Air and ground strikes,
Demolishing Hamas tunnels,
Special forces operations.
There are currently around 130 hostages held by the Hamas terrorist organization of the 240 that were taken captive on October 7th in the surprise attack on Israel.
Total Israeli deaths: 1,200.
Total Palestinian deaths (according to Gazan health officials): 22,400.
Total hostages held captive by Hamas: 130
Total freed (240 - 130 = 110 freed hostages)
Total hostages accidentally killed by Israeli forces: 3
