Israel: Shipments Of US 2,000LB MK-84 Bombs Arrive In Israel
Israeli military: So far, over 76,000 tons of military equipment have arrived in Israel via 678 flights and 129 sea shipments, marking the largest air and sea supply operation in the history of Israel
ISRAEL - Shipments of 2,000-pound MK-84 heavy munitions that had been previously paused by the Biden administration have been shipped to, and now arrived in Israel, according to the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
The shipments were sent on January 25th and docked at Israel's Ashdod Port on Saturday night, after which the Israel Defense Force's (IDF) Technology and Logistics Directorate personnel who then unloaded the bombers to Israeli Air Force bases.
Israeli Defense Minister Defense Minister Israel Katz said, "The supply of munitions that arrived in Israel last night and was released by the Trump administration is a significant asset for the Air Force and the IDF and is further evidence of the strong bond between Israel and the US."
According to the Israeli military, they will, "continue their ongoing efforts to procure and transport munitions for the IDF. So far, over 76,000 tons of military equipment have arrived in Israel via 678 flights and 129 sea shipments, marking the largest air and sea supply operation in the history of the State of Israel."
