Israel Preparing "Significant Strike" On Iran In Retaliation For Recent Missile Attack
Israeli military official: "The IDF is preparing a response to the unprecedented and unlawful Iranian attack on Israeli civilians and Israel".
JERUSALEM - The Israeli military is currently preparing a "significant strike" on Iran following the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel and said that they do not rule out the possibility that Iran may retaliate with an additional strike, according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Shortly after carrying out the missile strike on Israel which saw over 200 ballistic missiles fired on the nation, Tehran had said that if Israel were to retaliate for the attack, which Iran dubbed“Wadeh Sadeq 2" or "True Promise 2”, or continue what it said were "crimes" being carried out by Israel the region, the operation it carried out would be repeated, but with "bigger intensity" and with "all [Israeli] infrastructures" targeted, according to an Iranian general.
After the missile attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that it was a "big mistake" and that they would be carrying out a retaliatory response, "Whoever attacks us, we attack them".
