Iranian Supreme Leader: Israel, US Will Receive Crushing Response, US Deploys Additional Forces To Middle East
According to U.S. Central Command, B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers from Minot Air Force Base's 5th Bomb Wing arrived in the Middle East today. Troops will be arriving in the coming months.
TEHRAN - Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that both Israel and the United States will "receive a crushing response to what they are doing to Iran" as the United States deploys additional forces to the Middle East.
According to U.S. Central Command, B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers from Minot Air Force Base's 5th Bomb Wing arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility today after the Pentagon said several U.S. Air Force B-52 long-range strike bombers have been sent to the region, along with other assets.
Additional forces are also set to arrive in the Middle Eastern Area Of Responsibility (AoR) in the coming months.
Iran: Will Not Hesitate To Exercise Right To Self-Defense
Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations office in Geneva said at the end of October that it will not hesitate to exercise "its right to self-defense in accordance to the law".
Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei stated on social media today, "The enemies - both the Zionist regime and the United States of America - will definitely receive a crushing response to what they are doing to Iran, the Iranian nation, and the resistance front."
He also said, "Certainly, the general movement of the Iranian nation and the country's officials is to confront global arrogance and the criminal apparatus ruling the world order today [and] they will definitely and fairly not fail in any way; Be sure of this."
"Discussion is not just about revenge; The debate is a logical move, the confrontation is in line with religion, morality, Sharia and international laws, and the people of Iran and the country's officials will not make any delay or shortcoming in this regard; Be sure of this."
"Those who do their best with the available facilities are busy working and do not fail to confront the enemy and do not leave any enemy move unanswered. Be sure of this."
"It is not the case that the movement of the enemy is forgotten by those who are trying to fight against the enemy as representatives of the Iranian nation; No, it will not be forgotten."
Additionally, the Supreme Leader was cited by Khamenei News as saying, "The enemies, both the US and the Zionist regime, should know that they will definitely receive a harsh response to what they are doing against Iran and the resistance front."
During a speech on November 1st, Khamenei said, "We will definitely do everything that should be done…whether in terms of military, weapons, or political work," and added, "the authorities are already doing it."
After Israel's latest retaliatory strike on Iran, the Supreme leader stated on October 27th, "The evil of the Zionist regime two nights ago should neither be magnified nor belittled. The calculation error of the Zionist regime must be messed up. They should understand the strength, will and initiative of the Iranian nation and the country's youth."
