Iran To Give "Decisive Response" After Israel Destroys Iranian Consulate In Damascus
The strike is reported to have killed multiple Iranian Generals and officers, and destroyed the consular section of the embassy, according to Iranian officials.
TEHRAN - Iran says that it will be giving a “decisive response” after an Israeli strike in Damascus on the Iranian Embassy destroyed its consulate building and killed multiple Quads force Generals and Commanders.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that it sent an “ important message to the US government” as a supporter of Israel and said that “The United States must be responsible”.
The strike is reported to have killed two Iranian Generals and five officers, and destroyed the consular section of the embassy, according to Iranian officials.

Also killed in the strike was a member of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, Hussein Youssef, according to a spokesman for the group who spoke to the Associated Press.
The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights group also reported that two Syrians were killed in the attack.
The SOHR reported six deaths as a result of the Israeli attack on the Embassy and added, "Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that at least four Israeli missiles were fired on the area of scientific researches in Jamraya in Damascus setting fire to the location, while the anti-aircraft weapons of the regime attempted to block targets over the region".
Quads Force commander Ali Reza Zahdi. Zahdi and his deputy, General Mohammad Hadi Hajriahimi were among those reported to have been killed in the strike.
