Iran claims that the ability to launch a ballistic missile from a warship gives it the mobility it needs to hit any location in the world.
TEHRAN - Iranian state media has claimed that the country has launched a ballistic missile from a warship for the first time, which it says hit a target in the desert in central Iran.
Iran adds that the ability to launch a ballistic missile from a warship gives it the mobility it needs to hit any location in the world, but adds that the maximum range capability is 1087 miles, which would not be enough to reach large land-locked locations.
