Iran Reports Successful Imaging Satellite Launch

U.S. intelligence community’s 2022 threat assessment said that Iran obtaining launch vehicles for satellites "shortens the timeline," for the country to develop an ICBM.

TEHRAN - Iran has claimed that the country has launched an imaging satellite dubbed Noor-3 into orbit 450 kilometers (280 miles) above the Earth, according to Iran's state news agency IRNA, which reported that it used a homemade Ghassed launch vehicle.
