Iran Claims New Mohajer-10 Has Enough Range To Reach Israel
Iranian state news reported that the drone has a maximum payload of 300 kilograms (661 pounds) and can carry "different kinds of ammunition and bombs".
TEHRAN - Iran has released footage of the new Mohajer-10 drone that closely resembles the United State's MQ-9 Reaper, and says that it can stay in the air for 24 hours, has an operational range of over 1,200 miles, which would give it plenty of range to reach Israel.
The shortest distance from the Iranian border to Jerusalem, Israel is a little over 600 miles as the crow flies. Iran’s claims have not been verified.
From Tehran, the Capital of Iran the distance grows to over 950 miles as the crow flies, to Jerusalem, Israel. Still plenty of available flight time to reach Israel, if Iran's claims about the drone are accurate.
