Houthi Ballistic Missiles Fired Into Red Sea Shipping Lanes, US Destroyer Shoots Down 4 Drones
U.S. Central Command: The attacks represent the 14th and 15th attacks on commercial shipping by Houthi forces since attacks in the region began on October 17th.
CENTCOM - U.S. Central Command has reported that two Houthi anti-ship missiles were fired into international shipping lanes in the Southern Red Sea from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, and the USS Laboon destroyer intercepted and shot down four unmanned aerial drones also originating from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.
Central Command reported that the USS Laboon shot down the drones as they were headed toward the destroyer and that there were no injuries or damages as a result of the attack.
