DoD Announces Strategy For Countering Unmanned Systems (Drones) Amid Recent Rise In Drone Sightings In US, Europe
A “cluster of what look to be drones and a possible fixed wing aircraft" was sighted near the Raritan River within the last few weeks, according to the FBI.
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Defense has announced a new Strategy For Countering Unmanned Systems (also known as drones), which it says unifies the department’s approach to countering the systems, adding that they pose an “urge and enduring threat to U.S. personnel, facilities, and assets overseas amid recent drone sightings around U.S. and British military bases in the United States and Europe.
