Department of Defense Announces Additional Security Assistance for Ukraine

"This package, which totals up to $2.1 billion and includes critical air defense and ammunition capabilities, is being provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI)."

WASHINGTON - The Department of Defense has announced another security assistance package to Ukraine with a total value of up to $2.1 billion. The package includes air defense, more ammunition for the Patriot air defense missile systems, HAWK air defense systems and missiles, artillery rounds, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Laser-guided rocket system munitions, and “Support for training, maintenance, and sustainment activities”.
