Chinese Military Aircraft & PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan October 26th, 2023
Initially, 9 military aircraft and 9 vessels were spotted around the island, then an unknown number of additional military aircraft and vessels were spotted (at least 15 aircraft.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 24+ Chinese military aircraft and 9+ PLAN vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on October 26th, 2023. In addition, Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense spotted the PLAN Shandong Carrier Strike Group crossing the Bashi Channel today and entering the Western Pacific.
Initially, 9 military aircraft and 9 vessels were spotted around the island, then an unknown number of additional military aircraft and vessels were spotted (at least 15 aircraft and a carrier group). Taiwan's Ministry of Defense did not report how many additional there were.
