British Destroyer Shoots Down Suspected Attack Drone Over Red Sea
British Defense Secretary: "The ship recently arrived in the region to bolster international efforts to maintain maritime security".
RED SEA - British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps has reported that the British destroyer HMS Diamond (D34) has intercepted and shot down a "suspected attack drone" that was targeting merchant shipping in the Red Sea region.
The statement given by Shapps says that the HMS Diamond fired one Sea Viper missile and successfully destroyed the target.
