Border Patrol Arrests Former Wagner Mercenary In Possession Of A Drone After Illegally Crossing Rio Grande Into US
Timur Praliev crossed the Rio Grande by wading or swimming, carrying $4,000, two passports, and a drone in his backpack, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda McColgan.
US/MEXICO - U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a former Russian Wagner mercenary in possession of a drone after illegally crossing over the Rio Grande into the United States near Roma.

Timur Praliev crossed the Rio Grande by wading or swimming, carrying $4,000, two passports, and a drone in his backpack, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda McColgan.
“The defendant was also in possession of a drone in his backpack when he crossed into the United States, and he admitted, when interviewed, to being a member of the Wagner Group," McColgan said.
When questioned, Praliev said he was from Kazakhstan, according to the following criminal complaint filed against the man:
