Biden Administration Announces $800 Million In Additional Security Assistance for Ukraine
"This package will provide Ukraine with additional artillery systems and ammunition, including highly effective and reliable dual-purpose improved conventional munitions (DPICM)".
WASHINGTON - The Department of Defense (Dod) has announced an additional $800 million worth of security assistance to Ukraine which will provide the country with more artillery systems, ammunition, air defense munitions, armored vehicles, anti-armor weapons, and other equipment.
This authorization is the Biden Administration's forty-second drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021.
