Assassination Attempt On Former President Trump During Rally, Multiple Shots Fired

PENNSYLVANIA - Former President Donald Trump was shot in the ear after multiple shots were fired during a rally in Pennsylvania during a failed assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
After shots were fired security hurried the former President away as what looked to be blood was shown splattered across his face and around his ear. Trump is expected to survive, the gunshot does not appear to have been fatal.
According to the FBI, the shooter was a local 20-year-old male from Pennsylvania. The shooter’s name has not yet been officially released despite the current speculation on social media. The New York Post reports the shooter was Thomas Matthew Crooks, I've not been able to verify this, and the NYP cited "sources".
Update: WTAE-TV is now also reporting the shooter was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park.
Update: The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks as a 'subject involved' in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at the Rally.

Initial statement by a Secret Service Spokesman: "The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former president is safe. This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available."
According to law enforcement officials, the shooter was killed by the Secret Service. A statement released by Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform said the following:
